Biography

Allison Goar is a Senior Instructor with the Department of Race, Gender, and Ethnic Studies. A graduate of Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies (Western Washington University) and Colorado State University, she is also a PhD Student in CSU’s School of Education in the Educational Equity and Transformation Program.

Allison’s professional interests include critical whiteness studies, healing justice pedagogy, intersectional feminism, queer theory, disability studies, and the places where these things meet. Her current research interests include the experiences of neurodivergent students in higher education spaces.
