Know Your Rights: Protest Edition
November 2, 3-4pm
Eddy 200
This event, the first in the RGES ‘Democracy in Action’ Workshop Series, brings together community activists, university legal services, and RGES faculty to discuss the rights that students and members of the community should be aware of when attending protest gatherings.
As a fundamental way of engaging in democracy, this panel will offer a range of best practices and information to be aware of when exercising the right to protest. The ultimate goal is to ensure that attendees feel empowered and informed as they consider exercising these rights.
